The Home Buying Process

Whether you’re buying your first home or you’ve been through the process before, there are bound to be steps that are confusing or maybe even intimidating to you. It’s my job to take the stress away and help you focus on the excitement of purchasing your next home!

Once you’ve gotten pre-approval from a lender, it’s time to get started on the house hunt.

Step 1.

I’ll meet with you to explore your wants and needs. To get a feel for the type of home that will be best for you, I take the time to get to know all about you. What are your goals? Your dreams? I want to know what makes you uniquely you. Understanding who you are gives me great insight into what will be right for you, personally and financially.

Step 2.

Once we’ve identified potential neighborhoods, I’ll create an online profile for you so that I can send you automatic updates on homes in your target area and price range.

Step 3.

We find your dream home! Now we get down to business. I’ve developed my Spokane real estate expertise for 15 years, and have close relationships with agents in our community. They know my buyers are serious, qualified and ready to make a deal. I’ll position your offer competitively and negotiate fiercely on your behalf.

Step 4.

I’ll walk with you through every step of the inspection and closing process. The time between inspection and closing can feel like it lasts forever, and many buyers feel anxious until they have the keys in hand. I understand what you’re going through, and I strive to make myself available and always communicate openly so that you know exactly what’s going on in the process.

Step 5.

Closing day! We’ve come a long way, and yet your journey is just beginning. A new future in your home awaits, and I’ll be ready to help you in any way that I can. Congratulations, new home owner!
